Research Interests
My research lies in the area of geometry and topology of manifolds, in particular:
- Topological complexity and related invariants
- Geodesic complexity of Riemannian manifolds
- Topological methods in critical point theory and the calculus of variations
- Applications of algebraic topology to robot motion planning
Much of my work connects classical tools from algebraic and differential topology to concrete geometric problems such as the existence of closed geodesics or the complexity of motion planning algorithms on manifolds and other topological spaces.
